I'm thinking cool retro wreath?
Probably won't happen this year. As my "studio" consists of a cardboard box and the two square feet available when I shove my keyboard out of the way. But next year, when the renovation on our beach house is finished, I'm definitely doing something with these little guys.
Look at these little faces!
And the sweet little Dresden paper accents.
I wonder how long these guys have been packed away in someone's attic?
They still have their little Made in Japan stickers.
For now, they will be packed away -- waiting for the new house and the new work space.
Happy Christmas crafting (and thrifting)!

Colorado Lady's Vintage Thingie Thursday

Really cute! I hate to leave anything behind when I am out thrift shopping because you never know if you will ever see it again! You were smart to pick them up!
ReplyDeleteMy mom used to have a bunch of tiny little skiers that she and my dad made after they got married and she would use them every year to set up a ski village as part of the Christmas decor every year. We loved it as kids. Maybe you could make a Santa's village with all your little elves. I wish I had a picture (or one of them!) of the skiers.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! We had a crap load of those when I was a kid. I have always loved them. Lucky you for finding some in such great shape.
ReplyDeleteTOO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteOMG what a great score! I've been looking for just one of these guys at a price like that...they're always so much more expensive when I run across them! I want to hide him around the house so that I can remind all my boys that "the elves have their eyes on you" lol. I think a wreath would be fun!
ReplyDeleteI love those! Goodwill is the best place to find vintage Christmas things like this. I think they'd look great on a wreath.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! And yes, the first thing I thought of was a fun wreath.
ReplyDeletei'm here from colorado lady...
ReplyDeleteamanda, they ARE cuties --- so cheerful!
Cute elves. I don't have any elves and I want to find some.
ReplyDeleteMy mom got some just like these for my very first Xmas 45 years ago. They came with some Laura Secord lollipops.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your post of little elf's today. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteOh they're awesome! I think an elf wreath would be fabulous, happy VTT!
ReplyDeleteWell, I would probably have to find a spot for them!!!! They are so cute--lucky you to find a whole bag of them.
