How to Get Organized in the New Year!

It's that time of year again! Isn't it amazing how quickly the years fly by? If you are like me, at the start of a new year, you look for ways to organize your life. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

With a little bit of paint and some Craigslist or thrift store filing cabinets, you can organize your life with style!

Add storage space to your kitchen without spending a fortune.

A trip to the dollar store can help you organize your craft supplies for a fraction of the cost of those fancy container specialty stores.

Vintage trunks can do triple duty as style setters, storage, and furniture!

A vintage romance novel makes a great folio for a pocket planner and small notebook.

For a larger, more inclusive planner, with lots of room for pockets and notes, you might create a planner from an old hardcover book.

You can use the old spine of your book to make a bookmark for your planner!

Personalize your paperclips with this easy tutorial.
